Beauty: Urban Decay Naked Heat Palette

by - 00:31

It's been a good while since I've done a beauty post on here. It's been a combination of just me spending a bulk of my money on food instead of beauty products. Although this particular beauty product was given to me by my colleagues before I left my old job. So whilst I got this awhile ago, I have only got round to taking some good photos of it and often the lighting is a curse to me so I really have to time when I take my photos.

It was amazing how my colleagues seemed to know that I really really wanted to buy this palette. In fact, I had tried to go get this palette the week before when I went to Debenhams but it was actually all sold out.

The palette I feel doesn't really match the original line of Naked palettes as these colours are so far from neutral in my opinion. They actually stand out so much when applied to your eyelid. Another initial thought of mine was that this palette actually reminds me a lot of the Kylie Jenner Burgundy Palette except there is wider range of colours in this.

The colours range from a neutral pinks, tans and follows into dark browns and reddish browns. Five of these are metallics/shimmery eyeshadows. It's you are looking for a muted eye steer clear as even the lighter colours make your eyes pop and are incredibly warmer in tone when you apply them to your eyelid. I personally love to use 'ounce' or 'chaser' as my base colour and for work I usually use a mix of 'sauced' and ' low blow'. If I want a warmer eye, I usually use a combination 'low blow', 'he devil' and 'cayenne'. For a night out, I spray the brush included in the palette and run 'scorched' over my eyelid to make the glitter stand out more.

Overall, I really like this palette and like all of their other palettes the quality is extremely premium so I have nothing to complain about.

What's your favourite Urban Decay Palette?
