Hello everyone! Work recently gave me some vouchers that worked in Debenhams so I picked up Too Faced's Sweet Peach Palette. I had originally not heard of this palette until my friend Rae showed me this palette on one of our shopping trips (which you can also watch over on my youtube channel). My first impression was that the product was in a super cute packaging which made me instantly want to buy it. Secondly, as the palette has a peach scent to it I automatically found it more appealing to me than their chocolate ones as I don't really like the smell of chocolate at all and I love fruity scents. When I initially went back for the product, they were out of stock and there was a wait of three weeks for the product to be shipped in. Instead buying something else with the vouchers I patiently waited for the product to come back in stock and bought it with my vouchers the next time me a Rae went shopping.
Upon opening the package, you will find a little booklet with suggested eye looks and tutorials. Although I haven't tried them yet, they look pretty cool and I am bound to try them one day when I have more time to do my make up when I'm not rushing about.
The Palette comes with a mirror which I wish wasn't partially covered with wording as I like having bigger mirrors when I do my makeup so I don't really use the mirror in this like I do with my naked palettes. The palette itself boasts 18 shades that range from white and pale neutrals that can be used as bases and highlights, to vibrant pinks and warm browns and darks. The palette comes with a fair share of both mattes and glitters. The shadows are super pigmented and one swipe is enough if you are after a medium amount of colour on your lids. The product is super bendable as well and glide on your lids very easily. I wear this with my too faced shadow insurance primer which I wrote a post about earlier in the year and I find that with the same primer, this palette in general has a better staying power than my naked palettes. This is because they do not crease with my oily skin and I've been able to wear these shadows for an extended period of time without the need for a touch up.
In all, I am super in love with this palette and I have been using it pretty much every day since I bought it. I'm incredibly happy that I have branched out and given this a go and I think every make up lover should have this in their collection.
