Beauty: What I thought of XO Balm

by - 11:37

Xo Balm kindly sent us their product to review recently. The balm comes in a sleek tin as seen above.  The product is a semi-soft yellow cream that reminded me a lot of of lip balm which is probably where it got its name from. Unlike many other balms or lotions, this product comes with a scrapper to scrape the product out of the tin.

Once you've done this you can begin to apply the product anywhere you like! The balm is a multipurpose balm  that can be used on your face, body and even your hair.  You may however want to rub this balm between your hands first like I do in order to soften the product before use.  The balm is made of all natural ingredients and helps to soothe severe dry skin. It contains coconut oil, olive oil, beeswax and chia seed oil. For me, I felt that this product did wonders for both my elbows and feet. It's completely moisturising and non sticky as well.

As I have oily skin, I only use this if my face needs a deep moisture as my skin goes a bit too oily for make up if I use this as a moisturiser in my normal make up routine. Otherwise, this is fabulous for remedying dry patches that you may find on your face. As for the smell of the product? It is mostly scentless if anything it has a mild honey/ olive scent to it which is good news for people who don't like scented products.

All in all, I super recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an efficient means of dealing with their dry skin!
