Beauty, Fashion and Festivals: Simple festival looks

by - 19:58

As you all know Festival season is upon us. Which means good times, glitter, fun make up looks and attire. Getting all your gear together though shouldn't have to be a rip off. Whether you're heading to a day festival like Community Festival in the UK or even a bigger festival abroad such as the renowned Positivus festival in Latvia you don'y have to break the bank in order to look festival ready.

Here's an example of what I did last year for the world famous Glastonbury festival.

Lets start with what I did for my face:

Foundation: Bourjois Air Mat 24h foundation- £9.99
Brows: Nyx Tame and Frame Brow Pomade- £6.50
Eyeshadow:  Too Face Sweet Peach Palette- £39
Mascara: NYX XXL Mascara- £7.50
Blush: Nyx Baked Blush in Journey- £7
Lips:  NYX Lip Lingerie in Exotic- £7
Setting: Urban Decay All Nighter- £9 ( Travel Size)
Glitter: Art supplies Store ( £3), Confetti hearts- Tesco Party section (£2).

For my outfit:
Both from Primark. I threw together a striped top that I've owned for years with this burgandy pinafore from Primark that I have also owned for years.  Don't waste your money splashing out on an entirely new wardrobe of stuff you will probably only wear once or twice. Instead first have a look at the things that you already own and get inventive with what you own! Bring the creativity to the festival and always remember to wear whatever you feel most comfortable in!
