Beauty: Seascape Island Apothecary
Hello! Today's post is about the Seascape island apothecary products I kindly received from Positive Luxury. It was so nice to have gotten these just in time for my holiday. In the package I got, There was an oil duo package that consisted of the awake oil and their sleep oil. These both come in rollerball containers for easy application.
The sleep oil is amazing, I apply a little of this on my wrists, nose and temples before I sleep and I wake up feeling as though I have slept like a baby. The sleep oil has hints of lavender in it really aids in relaxing you and making you feel sleepy.
The awake oil is also very good. I couldn't quite place the scent but to me this smelt a lot like it had peppermint extracts in it. Either ways, I don't think it was designed to keep you awake all day but rather to make you feel awake when you get up? That's only because I apply this to my skin right after I get out of the shower and I instantly feel refreshed and awake. I find that this oil really helps in making you feel less groggy in the morning. Whilst I like this, if you made me choose between the two, I'd pick the sleep oil over this.
Lastly, they sent me a trio pack of travel essentials. Within these, there was their hand and nail cream which has a similar scent to the awake oil. Honestly, this cream is so refreshing. It absolutely saved my hands in the cold Norweigan weather and was perfect for rehydrating my million dollar claws on my flight as well. So I'm a big fan of this. Secondly, there was their peppermint lip balm, as of now I've only used this once as I have been making my way through my EOS spheres but from the one time that I have used this I thought that it did really hydrate my lips and make them feel soft without even making my lips feels oily. Lastly, there was the sleep oil which I already mentioned above.
Overall, I would definitely purchase their products in the future. I am a huge fan of the sleep oil and the hand cream and would be delighted to buy these for myself in the future. Their products are also sustainable and therefore better for the environment and ourselves which is very important to me.
* please note that I received these products for free in exchange for a review.
