Food: Moo Free Banana Bar

by - 13:30

Today's post is about a the Moo free vegan chocolate bars. Apologies for the photo, as you can tell I took this photo directly off my Instagram story. I was really impressed with this product but completely forgot that I needed to take a photo of it to post on here.

I picked this chocolate bar up after my friend Alisha told me that it had chunks of dried banana in it and that it tasted incredible. The next free lunch time I had I decided to head over to the nearest Holland and Barrett and pick one up for myself.

The bar itself I shared amongst my workmates at my old job who said they couldn't tell the difference between this and non-vegan chocolate.  What also impresses me is that this is such a great option for people who are intolerant to gluten. Additionally this product is Non-Gm which is great for both the environment and your own health. So if you are anti-GM like me, this is a safe chocolate to be consuming.

On to tasting the chocolate... The chocolate itself reminded me of a milk chocolate. It tastes closely like the tesco free from chocolates which are great so I was very happy with that. I'm usually not a fan of banana chips but I feel like you cannot go wrong with banana and chocolate. I was obviously not mistaken, this chocolate was absolutely delicious.

The one thing I would change about this product is the size of the banana chips. Since they were whole round chunks instead of smaller bitty pieces and that makes it super hard to break the chocolate up without it crumbling.

All in all, I thought that this was a great chocolate and I most certainly look forward to trying out their other chocolates.
