Review: Maybelline Instant Anti-Age concealer
Hey guys, today I've got a quick post about he Maybelline Instant Anti-age concealer. I've seen so many people rave on about this online and on youtube and I really wanted to try this one out. My go to concealer is usually the NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. My main use for this concealer was to highlight my face so I bought it in the lightest shade.
The product comes in a small bottle with a plastic top that covers the sponge applicator that is at the top of the bottle. The product is dispensed on the sponge when you twist the red bit at the top. If you twist the top too much however, the sponge gets overly saturated with product and cakes on the face and is hard to blend. It's therefore important that you only twist the top once or twice as that is a sufficient amount for under both eyes. Whilst I'm sure that this product was made with the intention of it being to cover up dark circles and eye bags, this product is great for highlighting and contouring. I like to blend it in with a beauty blender and set it with powder when I apply it. In terms of wearability, it does not slide off my face at all. It stays on pretty well and it does not make my skin feel itchy or oily. For a small price of £7, it reduces the dark circles under your eyes, any puffiness and finishes off your contour job to perfection. Honestly, so many people have raved on about this and I knew I had to try it to believe the hype and now I really do. I'm sure that I am going to buy this in the future.

I've always wanted to try the Maybelline Instant Anti-Age Concealer but the sponge applicator really puts me off. I prefer a wand applicator as I know fine well I'll end up twisting this too much and will run out of concealer within a week. If they changed up the applicator, I'd immediately purchase it as it does sound like a great product!

Yeah, it takes a bit of getting used to! I'm hoping they change the sponge to a wand applicator too because it seems like most people prefer them more±
